CHURCH IS THE PROBLEM, NOT THE BUILDING.

Be honest, are you practicing what you hear or just attending service?

Stay with me a little bit let me share something with you.

If we can apply just 1% of what we hear every Sunday or conferences our society will look very different. But that’s the problem, we hear a lot, we apply almost nothing.

Every Sunday, we show up like saints. We worship. We pray. We shout. We cry. We testify.

But from Monday, you start to see the real version of us. So what exactly are we doing every Sunday? Transformation or performance?

Because it’s one thing to hear the word it’s another thing to become it.

Let me make it practical. I had a business transaction with a man. I delivered branded stationeries for his business. Up till now, he has refused to pay me the balance for the job. He avoids my calls. Ends them when he hears my voice. Now here is what should bother you, this man is a committed, well respected church member.

So I ask again, is it the building that has a problem? Or the people inside it?

Because if a man can lift holy hands on Sunday and still choose dishonesty on Monday then the issue is not what he heard, it’s what he has decided to become.

We like to blame the government. But many people are simply expressing corruption at their own level. So what you see when they assume public office is as a result of who they really are.

Give some individuals power, and they will become worse. That’s the hard truth.

A better society is not built by better sermons alone, it is built by better people. And better people are not the ones who attend church they are the ones who submit to change.

Until we stop performing Christianity and start living it, nothing changes.

…. to be continued.
